Empathy is the ability to share the feelings of another. If you see a child going through the same pain you have had, you can understand them and see why they're upset you can even share your own feelings with them. In some cases, movies for example, you can notice how some characters are facing the same problem and need to discuss their feelings with another to make an idea in order to solve the problem that they are facing. There are also examples of empathy in commericials. An example of this would be when an actor is using the product to solve a problem they have, either with their car, house, or pet. The customer can relate to this problem and can get convinced to buy the product presented. When explaining a product to consumers with a partner, you and your partner can easily empathise with one another and conjoin each others ideas. I feel that if you empathise with the consumer as well, it will develop a connection and may persuade the consumer to purchase your product. The consumers feelings about the product is the most important so you really need to focus in on how they feel and about the product. You need to share their feelings.
